Review insulation work before it is concealed
A review before finishes are installed gives the project team an opportunity to resolve questions while the work is accessible. Arrange that review in the programme rather than treating it as an optional final photograph.
Agree the review points early
Ask the designer, contractor and relevant inspector which stages need review. Put those points into the schedule and identify who gives permission to proceed. The applicable checks depend on the assembly and local requirements.
Compare with the accepted scope
Use the final drawings and approved changes, not an early quote. Record areas that are incomplete or inaccessible and assign follow-up responsibility. Questions about installation quality should go to the qualified reviewer and product requirements rather than being settled by appearance alone.
Keep the closure record
Save the review outcome and dated photographs by location. Identify remaining conditions before closure and obtain the appropriate release. These records help later maintenance teams understand what sits behind the finished surfaces.
