Build an insulation project document folder

By Industry Army Marketing (IAM) · September 28, 2026

A simple project folder makes it easier to compare proposals and maintain the building later. Organise records by purpose so the final installation can be distinguished from early options.

Keep the agreed scope together

Save the accepted proposal, drawings and written changes in one section. Mark superseded versions clearly. Include the project address and dates in the folder record without publishing private information in a public gallery.

Collect evidence as work progresses

Store product identification, delivery records and relevant inspections with dated photographs. Give photographs room or area references. Ask for missing documents before the team leaves rather than trying to reconstruct the job months later.

Create a short handover index

List the installed areas, outstanding items, maintenance guidance and contact details. Link to current manufacturer documents while keeping a copy of the information used for the job. The owner should be able to find a repair contact without reading every proposal.

Keep with your project brief
